SEC to Hold Annual Government-Business Forum on Small Business Capital Formation on November 17
Last week, The SEC announced that it will hold its annual Government-Business Forum on Small Business Capital Formation at its Washington, D.C. headquarters on November 17.
The forum will feature a panel discussion exploring how capital formation options are working for small businesses after the implementation of the JOBS Act. Participants will also work in groups to formulate specific policy recommendations.
Information on the panel participants and the full agenda for the forum will be announced in November and available on the forum webpage HERE.
The forum is open to the public, and the opening remarks and panel discussion will be webcast live on the SEC’s website.
Anyone wishing to participate in a breakout group either in person or by teleconference must register online by Nov. 11, 2016.
Members of the public are invited to make suggestions for recommendations or topics to be discussed at the forum by e-mailing the SEC’s Office of Small Business Policy at SmallBusiness@sec.gov.
