Sichenzia Ross Founding (and name) Partner Leaves For New Firm
On October 13th, Richard Friedman, a founding partner and former longtime head of New York’s Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference, left the firm to join Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton.
Los Angeles-based Sheppard Mullin announced Thursday that Friedman had agreed to join the firm’s New York office along with Sichenzia Ross corporate partners Andrea Cataneo, Stephen Cohen and Jeffrey Fessler. The Sichenzia Ross team headed to Sheppard Mullin specializes in securities filings and reporting, finance and transnational work.
Sichenzia Ross promptly changed their name from Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference to Sichenzia Ross Ference Kesner.
“We have anticipated their transition for some time and wish our former colleagues well in their new endeavor,” said Ference, chair of the firm’s executive committee.
On October 17th, Sichenzia Ross announced that “Harvey Kesner has joined Gregory Sichenzia, Marc Ross and Michael Ference in renaming the firm “SRFK LLP.”” According to the firm, the new name “represents the continuation of the firm’s 18 year commitment to excellence through serving the needs of public and private companies, their financiers and the broker-dealer and financial services community.”
