QBie™ Spotlight joins Nicolas Tremblay, VP of Corporate Development at Nouveau Monde Graphite Inc. (OTCQB: NMGRF), to discuss one of the OTCQB’s newest additions. NMGRF joined the OTCQB on February 22, 2017.  

What does Nouveau Monde do?

Nicolas Tremblay (VP of Corporate Development – OTCQB: NMGRF):  “We’re advancing a graphite project to production. In 2015, we proved up to market a world-class resource only 130 km north of Montreal. In June of 2016, we published a PEA and we are now working on a PFS to be published by September of 2017.”   

What is the next big goal NMGRF is trying to accomplish/what should we keep an eye out for? 

Nicolas Tremblay: “We just announced on April 19th that we are working on a demonstration plant to be up and running by H1 of 2018. That’s pending permitting and financing.” Learn more HERE. 

Why did you join the OTCQB/go public?

Nicolas Tremblay: “The company was founded in January 2013 and was listed on the TSX-V as of day one. Prior to being on the OTCQB, we were on the OTC Pink. We need to be on an OTC board for US investors interested in our company.”  

How can members of the microcap community help you?

Nicolas Tremblay: “Learn about our project and the market we operate in. There is tremendous upside potential in our company. We have derisked quite a bit our graphite property since 2015 and we now have the team in place to execute on our plan to bring this to production. I have no doubt that the market will increasingly acknowledge this and that shall get our share price and market cap to rise.“
