OTC Markets Announces Quarterly Index Performance and Rebalancing
Last Friday, OTC Markets announced their second quarter 2017 performance and quarterly rebalancing of the OTCQX and OTCQB indexes.
The OTCQX Composite Index (.OTCQX), a benchmark for the overall OTCQX Best Market, was up 4.7% in the first quarter. 35 companies were added to the index, and 32 companies were removed from the index.
The OTCQX U.S. Index (.OTCQXUS), a benchmark for U.S. OTCQX companies, was up 11.9% in the first quarter. Fourteen companies were added to the index and 20 companies were removed.
The OTCQB Venture Index (.OTCQB), which tracks the overall OTCQB Venture Market, was down 2.4% in the first quarter. 115 companies were added to the index and 107 companies were removed.
