With the first week of September behind us, the microcap community is officially back to work. Last week’s Liolios Gateway Conference started this fall’s microcap conference season off strong but there are still five more big events that will keep microcap professionals busy this month.
Rodman & Renshaw 19th Annual Global Investment Conference
Yesterday, the Rodman & Renshaw 19th Annual Global Investment Conference in NYC hosted and dinner for attendees. The Rodman & Renshaw event will run company presentations today and tomorrow. This morning Sean Spicer will also be making his first Post-White House speaking appearance as the event’s key note.
IR Magazine Awards & Conference – Small Cap
On Wednesday, IR Magazine will host their first Small Cap Awards & Conference in NYC. The event is the first best practice event in New York exclusively for CEOs, CFOs, IROs and advisors from small cap companies. Spanning multiple industries, the one-day conference will focus on key issues affecting small cap companies including investor relations 101, how to get in front of more of the right investors, crisis planning, Q & A with the investment community, how to get better coverage, effectively using social media and much more. If you will be in NYC on Wednesday, you can still register to attend ($95 for public company team members and $295 for others).
The MicroCap Leadership Summit
The MicroCap Leadership Summit is a two day event held on September 21-22, 2017 at the Westin Chicago Northwest Hotel (just outside of Chicago). Day one will feature speakers to inspire, motivate, and educate attendees on becoming better microcap investors. Then in “Pitch Session”, MicroCapClub’ best members will pitch their favorite microcap idea at the current price.
On Day Two, a select group of “undiscovered microcap companies” will be present to investors. According to the event’s website, “Only the smallest, least institutionally owned, best companies found by MicroCapClub will be invited. On both days attendees will be able to network with many of the best microcap investors in North America.”
The Disruptive Growth Company Showcase NYC
Presented by SeeThruEquity and RHK Capital, the Emerging Growth Company Showcase will take place in NYC September 27th. The one day event will feature leading presenting companies and numerous microcap focused investors, sponsors and industry professionals. The conference will feature 30-minute presentations by presenting companies as well as 1×1 meetings with scheduled investors.
Sidoti & Company Fall 2017 Conference
Sidoti & Company, the preeminent institutional-quality equity research provider on Wall Street covering small- and micro-cap equities, will be hosting their Fall conference in NYC on September 28th.
