SmallCap IR Teams Should Use Multiple Investor Targeting Techniques
A recent post on IR Magazine discussed how an “Online poll shows IROs favor a mix of targeting techniques.”
According to the IRMagazine.com poll, almost 64% of the respondents use a multi-pronged approach (brokers and direct) when targeting investors while 14% of respondents say they don’t do targeting at all.
When it comes to smallcaps, direct targeting plays a larger role. An OTC Market’s survey from June finds that small-cap companies employ everything including non-deal roadshows, investment conferences, and social media. Almost half of respondents say they use Twitter, LinkedIn or other social media to reach new investors.
