Castano says that many smallcap management teams view PR as a luxury but “an effective public relations program can have a significant impact on the public perception of a company. In turn, those positive vibes (or conversely, negative ones) can influence the decisions of individuals to buy, sell or hold a company’s stock or purchase its widget, as well as have a profound effect on its overall reputation.”
The author shares 3 tips for implementing a smallcap public relations strategy:
1. Hire boutique agencies or sole practitioners to keep costs down.
2. Look for chemistry between management and your outsourced PR team.
3. Keep it simple!
