Three Tips For Using Social Media in Financial Reporting

Three things any company should consider before sharing financial results (or other important news) include;

1. Channels and content – Make sure you are using the right social channels and plan/schedule your post in advance.

2. Leadership and people – “An appropriate level of leadership commentary on social media is an essential element of best practice.”

3. Publishing and amplification – Once plans are in place, the business and its leadership team can start posting content, links, and analysis before, during, and after the announcement.
