Winners of IR Magazine’s US SmallCap Awards Announced

Last week, IR Magazine hosted their Forum & Awards for US SmallCap companies at OTC Markets’ headquarters in New York City.

Small-cap companies were eligible to win awards in three categories: 1. best investor engagement, 2. best investor relations by a micro-cap company, and 3. best investor relations by a small-cap company.

The winners were:

Best investor engagement: Spartan Motors (NASDAQ: SPAR), collected by Tyler Deur, senior associate in IR at Lambert Edwards

Best IR by a micro-cap company: Alpha & Omega Semiconductor (NASDAQ: AOSL), collected by So-Yeon Jeong, IR consultant

Best IR a small-cap company: Revance Therapeutics (NASDAQ: RVNC), collected by Jeanie Herbert, senior director of IR and corporate communications.

 

Companies could nominate themselves or have nominations submitted on their behalf (free of charge). From these nominations, IR Magazine’s editorial staff produced the following short lists:

Repro Med Systems (OTCQX: REPR)

Spartan Motors (NASDAQ: SPAR)

The Singing Machine Company (OTCQX: SMDM)

Best IR by a micro-cap company

First Resource Bank (OTCQX: FRSB)

Idera Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: IDRA)

Meritage Hospitality Group (OTCQX: MHGU)

Suncrest Bank (OTCQX: SBKK)

TGR Financial (OTCQX: TGRF)

The OurPet’s Company (OTCQX: OPCO)

Best IR by a small-cap company

Computer Services (OTCQX: CSVI)

MPM Holdings (OTCQX: MPMQ)

Primoris Services Corporation (NASDAQ: PRIM)

Revance Therapeutics (NASDAQ: RVNC)

Stoneridge (NYSE: SRI)

 

Despite 10 of the 16 nominees being OTC issuers, all of the winners where Nasdaq companies.
