OTC Markets Acquires Virtual Investor Conferences To Provide Issuers With Cost-Effective Options To Expand Their Investor Base

Last week, OTC Markets Group Inc. announced its acquisition of assets related to Virtual Investor Conferences (“VIC”), the online investor conference series that directly connects individual investors, institutional investors, advisors and analysts with senior executives at public companies. Virtual Investor Conferences complement OTC Markets Group’s suite of visibility services, which include news distribution and communications services.

Through the VIC platform investors can interact directly with executives and participants through live online webcast presentations and provide materials and annual reports, investor kits, surveys and other investor materials from a virtual “exhibit hall.” Archived webcasts are also made available after the event.

OTC Markets Group will consume the VIC platform, previously owned and operated by PR Newswire Association LLC, a Cision company. As part of the VIC business, John Viglotti has joined the Corporate Services team as a Senior Vice President of Investor Access to lead business development efforts for this new offering, oversee operations of the brand and integrate core assets including state-of-the-art technology, intellectual property and a proprietary investor database.

The VIC product delivers an efficient, reliable and real-time solution for investor engagement,” said Jason Paltrowitz, EVP of Corporate Services at OTC Markets Group. “We look forward to maximizing this growth initiative and continuing to add products that align with our goal of providing issuers with cost-effective options to expand their individual and institutional investor base.

We’re excited to continue the momentum of the Virtual Investor Conference brand and provide a best-in-class issuer experience for OTC Markets Group and the broader issuer community,” said John Viglotti, SVP of Investor Access, OTC Markets Group.
